G106 National Highway Puyang Rehabilitation 100% RAP Recycling with WPCB400
On the 14.553 km Bagongqiao to Dongming Yellow River Bridge section of G106, Beizhu delivered a WPCB400-based continuous foamed bitumen cold recycling solution that recycled 42,000 tons of RAP and reduced total project cost by RMB 29.54 million.
Background
G106 is a major north-south logistics corridor. The Puyang section suffered structural cracking, rutting and settlement after decades of heavy traffic. Conventional cement-stabilized base reconstruction would require long closures, high new aggregate consumption and major disposal pressure for milled asphalt.
Challenge
The project had to open before flood season, avoid long traffic closures, comply with Yellow River Basin ecological protection requirements, and control costs under rising aggregate prices.
Solution
Beizhu provided an integrated equipment, mix design, standardized construction and technical service solution centered on the WPCB400 continuous plant-mix cold recycling system.
The WPCB400 delivered stable 400-600 t/h continuous output, dual-stage mixing, high-precision foamed bitumen injection and full production traceability.
RAP was milled at 15 cm, crushed, screened into fine and coarse fractions, then mixed with foamed bitumen and cement to form a flexible recycled base layer.
Results
The project achieved 100% recycling of 42,000 tons of RAP, reduced total cost by RMB 29.54 million, cut unit cost by 105.36 RMB/m2, shortened the schedule by 30%, reduced carbon emissions by about 1,200 tons, and reduced traffic disruption by 50%.
